SERVPRO dump truck. We have our very own SERVPRO dump truck!

Every SERVPRO is individually owned and operated.

All of our hard work has shined through each and every job throughout the 25+ years.

Every single employee we have works their hardest. We have great people in our leadership roles to help guide us all along the way.

It's not easy running a business with so many employees but our owners knowledge and compassion for our employees and customers really provides a solid foundation to work off of.

We learn and grow together as a team every day along the way.

SERVPRO is a wonderful company to work for and it's amazing to see how far Joe, Juan and Steve have been able to take our business. Every year we reach a new level of accomplishment and exceed expectations of our customers because that's the most important thing to us, a happy customer.

Our team is full of honest people who take pride in their work. Behind every group of hard workers are inspiring leaders.

At SERVPRO of North Vista/ San Marcos we are lucky to have not only one but three great leaders. They have molded all of us into the helpful and encouraging team we have become. Every part of our office plays a key role in our success. From the second a customer calls our office, they are greeted by a person who understands the stress they are going through. Our team takes note of everything our customers have to say because the small details are important to running a smooth operation. Our project managers are incredibly detailed in their explanations of procedures and walk every homeowner through the process giving specific information to help ease the stress.

We care deeply for our customers and it reflects in our positive reviews we receive from them.

SAFETY Always Comes First! For Our Customers & Employees.

Worker dressed in PPE removing mold. PPE keeps our employees safe!

Safety always comes first at SERVPRO. A job can only be done correctly if you are prepared for it correctly.

Having the proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is important and always the first step in every job. Working in the restoration industry has potential for injury so it's important to be prepared at all times and protect yourselves in every way possible!

Allen has his PPE on for this mold loss. If there is mold present when cutting into the drywall, the spores can travel and even be inhaled. No one wants to inhale anything other than oxygen so our employees are required to wear masks & protective eye wear. Even if no mold is present, a mask is important to keep from inhaling debris that floats around and can cause irritation to eyes, nose, throat and etc.

We care about our employees and customers health so we always make sure everyone has the proper PPE on for each and every job.

Joe, Juan, Steve SERVPRO owners. SERVPRO owners Joe, Juan, and Steve

Our owners Joe, Juan and Steve first opened the doors to SERVPRO of North Vista/ San Marcos in 2003.

  • In 2017 our owners decided to grow our team and purchased SERVPRO of Escondido.
  • Over a year later in 2018 they became the new owners to SERVPRO of Carlsbad.
  • In 2020 our team expanded again and purchased SERVPRO of NE San Diego county.

We are the largest franchise in North County San Diego!

Our owners are dedicated to helping our customers receive the best service we can offer. With each of them bringing honesty, integrity, respect and knowledge to the table, they make a great team.

They are experts in the restoration industry with 28+ years of experience behind them.

Joe and Steve's distinguished military background set high standards for our employees. All of us at SERVPRO of North Vista/San Marcos strive to take care of our customers to the best of our ability.

From all of us at SERVPRO, we thank you for trusting us to take care of you and your customers and we aspire to exceed your expectations. I hope this gives you insight into our SERVPRO and the camaraderie we have for each other because we really are more than coworkers, we are family.

Rain in San Diego

1/4/2021 (Permalink)

Green SERVPRO truck in parking lot with flags flying in background. Our trucks are always ready and packed with enough equipment to weather the storms.

Here at SERVPRO of N.Vista/San Marcos we are not strangers to the damage that can be caused by rain. Here's our recommendation for preventing what could become a huge headache because of rain. Have your roof inspected once a year!!

Far more can happen and go wrong then a couple of ugly water stains on your ceiling. If you don't catch the leak, it could begin to rot the frame of your home. When wood gets too wet and ultimately damaged by water, it has to be replaced. So basically what could start as a little bit of water from a little bit of rain can spread causing unnecessary and expensive water damage and/or eventually mold damage costing you much more than the price of a simple inspection.

This has been one of the wettest years San Diego has seen in over 50 years.  Keep dry, keep safe, and inspect your roofs San Diego.

Doom & Gloom Weather

Warehouse full of equipment We have every piece of equipment needed to get homes and properties back to working conditions.

Southern California is not known for rainy weather but when it does rain for the few days out of the year, it comes in heavy! We are blessed to live in a beautiful place where the sun is always shining but because of that we do not really prepare ourselves and our properties for the potential damage that a rainstorm can bring. Storms show us the faulty roof tiles, and potential bad workmanship of the home in general. Sadly the only way to know these faults exist is for a rain water leak to show you. As long as SERVPRO of Escondido gets out there as soon as possible to address the issue early on, there will be less damage to the home and be able to get the home back to working condition quickly.

If you have a leak or water damage in your home or business, call us today for an inspection! (760)758-3454

How the Mission Started:

12/1/2020 (Permalink)

Group photo of employees with mask on in front of green trucks. Our team keeps growing ever year! SERVPRO of Carlsbad 2020.

The mission started in 1991, when Joe and Steve sat down for lunch in Camp Pendleton. Both were serving in the U.S. Marines Corps, and they began discussing what they'd do when their service was over. Eventually, they broached the possibility of starting a business together.

In July of that year, they created G.I. Joe Carpet Cleaning, the humble beginnings of a decades-long partnership. Because of their other duties, they could only work at nights and on their days off.

Joe retired from the Marines in 1995, giving him more time to dedicate to the growing business. In 1998, his son, Juan, was old enough to join, and that year, they re-branded the company as G.I. Joe Restoration.

Five years later, Joe and Juan bought their first franchise, SERVPRO of N. Vista/San Marcos. In 2005, Steve retired from the Marines, allowing him to join Joe and Juan as three owners of SERVPRO.

In 2018 the three bought SERVPRO of Escondido, then continued on to purchase SERVPRO of Carlsbad in 2019, followed by the acquisition of SERVPRO of NE San Diego County in 2020.

Today, SERVPRO employs nearly 75 people from four locations across southern California, with a headquarters in San Marcos. Though we've grown much since that lunch conversation in 1991, our mission remains the same: To be the best restoration company there is.

Having the proper equipment for the job is so important!

Generator on trailer connected to truck. Here is one of our generators!

To repair water damage, you must have the proper equipment.

We have it all, right at our fingertips. Even if the water damage is severe, our extraction machines are strong enough for the job. When an entire level of a home or even a commercial building is flooded, the huge extractor machines we have can get the water removed quickly. A lot of times when there is water damage, the electricity is shut off. If there is no electricity, we have our own generators to power us as we work. Our generators allow us to plug in the proper equipment we need to get the place dried out in no time. Being able to supply our own electricity allows us to get the job finished in a timely manner so you can get your home or office back to working condition ASAP!

Board Ups & Clean Ups are Our Specialty!

12/1/2020 (Permalink)

Green SERVPRO dump truck raise up Our business is self contained, we can handle it all!

Many times we get a phone call for a board up that is needed. Whether you have a broken window, a busted door, or even a burned garage, our trailers will arrive packed with everything we need to board up and keep your property safe. You don't want to leave your home exposed to the community. Our experts are able to get your property boarded up within a matter of hours.

If we have to do demolition at your home or business, we'll even bring our own dump truck to pick up the trash and make sure nothing is left behind. With water and fire damage, there can be a lot of debris that needs cleaning. Having our own dump truck allows us to get the property cleaned up completely and not leave one trash bag behind. We take the mess with us when we leave your home!
